We at HALVES are delighted to announce that we have received the Carbon-Conscious Website Accreditation for our company website. This accreditation recognises our digital sustainability leadership by not only taking measures to reduce the carbon footprint of our website, but also using green energy to power the website. As part of the criteria, HALVES website’s carbon footprint each year is taken accountability for, through insetting or offsetting as a last resort through high-integrity, science-backed Gold Standard or Verified Carbon Standard projects. Additionally, the HALVES website undergoes regular audits by the Eco-Friendly Web Alliance (EFWA) to ensure that the standard is maintained and is also part of the EFWA's verification directory. It is imperative that we do not neglect the carbon footprint of our websites and digital platforms while we work towards a cleaner, greener internet for all.
